Major Features in Depth

Secure Viewing. PDF-PX locks itself onto each computer you authorize installation on. If the program file is copied to another machine – it becomes inoperable. The licensee maintains exclusive control over what machines PDF-PX can be used on through a simple and fast installation process. Installation uses a "Authorization Code Generator" which only the licensee holds and controls.

Passwords Remain Secure. PDF-PX acts as an unlocking device to automatically open PDF files. The person using PDF-PX to view files – never learns the password used by PDF-PX to open password protected PDF files (only the licensee of PDF-PX knows the password; Acrobotics does not maintain records of the unique complex password hard-coded into each licensed copy of PDF-PX). Every full licensed copy of PDF-PX has a different complex password hard-coded into the program. Other licensees cannot use their copy to access your PDF files.

Complex Password Supported. Each licensed copy of PDF-PX comes with a unique highly complex hack/crack-resistant confidential password (known only to the licensee). PDF documents are rendered super-secure without the need for an operator to manually enter the complex password each time a document is opened.

Prevents Unauthorized Copying. If PDF-PX is copied – the copy is useless on any other computer. PDF-PX only works on machines the licensee authorized it on (the authorization code issued by the licensee only works for a single one-time installation - a separate authorization code must be generated by the licensee and sent to the end-user for each separate installation). If PDF files copied – the copies retain their password protection and cannot be opened or viewed without access to a working copy of PDF-PX (which won’t work on any unauthorized machine).

Expansive License. The license agreement for PDF-PX permits you to install and use PDF-PX on as many (or as few) computers as you desire. You can freely remove and re-install PDF-PX on multiple machines (the license permits simultaneous use on multiple machines).

No Hidden Files. Removing PDF-PX from a machine is even easier and faster than the installation process. PDF-PX does not hide files and will make no change to the registry.

No Proprietary Viewer. PDF-PX works with either Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat. No proprietary viewer is needed or required.

Automated Password Assignment. PDF-PX itself will not assign a password to your PDF files, however the included instruction guide shows you how to easily and quickly assign a password to all of your PDF files as a fully automated process using your full licensed version of Adobe Acrobat.
