With the support of a variety of our sponsors, we're pleased to announce that in response to frequent requests we're making freely available the "Best of Planet PDF, Volume 1" -- a cross-section of our most popular Acrobat/PDF-oriented content -- in a very familiar format: PDF!
It's the first of what will be an ongoing series of compilations of select Planet PDF news features, tips, interviews, product information and more.
Highlights in volume 1 include our recent "Masters of the PDF Universe" interviews with John Warnock, Aandi Inston and numerous other respected figures from the world of Acrobat; our in-depth previews of Adobe Acrobat 6.0 and Adobe Reader 6.0; a sampling of tips and articles from Planet PDF's recent past; and our look back at the evolution of Acrobat and PDF over the past 10 years -- officially launched June 15, 1993 -- including a recent interview with Adobe's Gary Cosimini, the company's first Acrobat Evangelist and currently a Business Development Director.
The Best of Planet PDF, volume 1, features the following topic areas:
- 10 Years of PDF
- Masters of PDF
- Security & Accesssiblity

- The Best Of Planet PDF, which is set to open in full-screen mode, has been designed to make use of features only included in Adobe Acrobat 5, 6 or 7. If you're using an older version of Acrobat, download the free Adobe Reader 7.0.
- Acrobat 5 users should make sure they turn their Smooth Line Art option on to enjoy the best visual experience. Go to Edit > Preferences > General > Display and select the checkbox. Acrobat 6 users should already have this option turned on.
