Major Features in Depth

Create a Reference Index. Perfect for creating a reference index for product catalogues, legal briefs, transcripts, manuals, E-Books, Articles, Dissertations and White Papers.

Concordance Style Index. Generates a concordance style index of words and phrases – sorted alphabetically with corresponding PDF page references.

Batch Index. Batch index multiple PDF documents in a single session. Supports batch indexing of an entire folder of PDF files (and sub-folders).

Database Index. Supports generation of a database index for easy consolidation of multiple PDF documents into a single index with alphabetized words and phrases, corresponding page references, word/phrase count (per page) and corresponding file name. Acrobotics provides (to purchases of the full licensed version) a free CSV file "merging tool" to consolidate multiple database indexes created by PDF Index Creator into one "master" database index.

Word List Maker. PDF Index Creator includes a companion utility that will generate a list of all words in a PDF document. You can edit the list (delete insignificant words and add phrases) and then import this list of words and phrases to index for. This makes indexing almost effortless.

Platform and Product Requirements

• Windows 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP, Vista and 7.
• Full licensed version of Adobe Acrobat 5.0, 6.0, 7.0, 8.0 or 9.0 (Standard or Professional) is required.

Limitations of the Evaluation version.

• The number of pages to be indexed is limited to 25 pages (first 25 pages of the PDF document).
• The demonstration version will only index for a maximum of 25 words and phrases.
• A maximum of 5 PDF files can be batch indexed.
