Major Features in Depth

Advanced Document Splitting. ARTS PDF Aerialist gives you the ability to split PDF documents by virtually any division you can think of, including pages, page ranges, bookmarks, page marks. Documents can be split without breaking cross-document navigation - so bookmarks will still work, even where the bookmark target is now in another file.

File Conversion and Merging. Aerialist allows you to merge an enormous range of different files types, including DOC, PDF, XLS, EPS, into a single self-contained PDF file, without requiring you to convert file formats beforehand.

Apply Headers, Footers and Watermarks. Use Aerialist to insert text, numbers and images anywhere on the page, including behind and in front of existing page content. Add content page-by-page or across multiple pages at once in a single step.

Bates Numbering and Page Numbering. Aerialist allows you to mark up incoming documents for archival and reference with its full set Bates numbering features. Aerialist also offers a range of other useful document processing elements such as date, time, author, among others.

Automatic Bookmark Generation. Aerialist allows you to generate bookmarks automatically by identifying heading font styles and sizes and then placing custom bookmarks at each identified heading automatically. Copy and paste sets of bookmarks and links across large document collections; modify and update them with full search-and-replace functionality.

Audit Bookmarks and Links. Check and report on bookmarks and links across pages, between documents and to Web pages.

Full Batch Processing Capabilities. All Aerialist features are available for creating batch processes, allowing you to combine Aerialist's splitting, merging, stamping, bookmarking, linking and other features with native Acrobat functionality into sophisticated, customised commands. Once created, these commands can be applied to individual documents or whole collections of PDF files in a single operation.
